It was used for about 2000 miles and is in very good condition. It scratched the carbon lightly so I put the tape there to prevent it touching the carbon after I noticed they lightly touched sometimes. This is off my personal 2008 Volkswagen R32 that I am selling so I put it back to stock.

If you are not familiar with this popular intake it has a piper cross foam filter element inside a carbon composite canister. It worked perfectly for me. The silicone hoses connect to a front ram air metal air scoop that gets cold air from the front of the car. Feel free to make an offer as I have no use for this and it's just sitting in a box taking up space.

As I mentioned it was on my own car. Included 1 x carbon fiber composite air box canister 3 x black silicone hoses 1 x front air scoop 6 x stainless steel clamps there is a small square of tape covering a small spot on the canister that was rubbing the insulation under my hood. There is a knock and a scratch that I have pictured. The canister is made of black carbon fiber composite and the end caps are aluminum.

They do not effect performance at all. I have added a layer of die reflect a gold heat reflective tape to the underside of the air filter canister.

This was to help keep the canister cooler and help the filter breath colder air which makes more horsepower.
